Todos os anos respondo um "meme" de fim de ano aqui no blog. Em 2010 não poderia ser diferente, então aqui vai a edição desse ano:

1 - What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
I learned to drive! (2010)

2 - Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
In a way, yes. The resolution was to become an au pair and go to the USA. And although I'm still here in Brazil at the moment, I travel to Denver in January to become one. So, I'd say the goal was achieved. (2010)
Not at all, all my plans went completely wrong. Yes, I already have plans for 2010, they are mostly the ones I didn't accomplish this year. (2009)

Getting a good job, saving money and paying for everything au pair related, thus becoming one. Also, I think it's worth mentioning all the work I've done at the Resource Center, I practicly brought it back from death. (2010)

Maybe not getting a boyfriend? Although I don't blame myself for it, as chance plays a major part on such matters. No failures this year, I'm afraid. (2010)

I've been reading the Sookie Stackhouse series... the first 3 ones are pretty good. I also re-read The Catcher in the Rye, and laughed a lot while doing it, such a great book. (2009)

You have to work a lot to get what you want. And the more you give with an open heart and good will, the more you get back when you least expect. Also, you have to do a good job, give the best of yourself, not to get recognition from others, but to become a better person and feel good about yourself. (2010)
Just because you made plans, it doesn't mean things will go as you wished for. You have to be understanding, keep your faith and keep on trying, until you reach your goals. There's always a reason why things are as they are and some lesson to be learned, nothing happens by chance. (2009)

Obrigada. Realmente, é uma pena rs... mas o que está reservado para nós, está reservado. Tenho certeza que muitas coisas boas virão com essa viagem, incluindo novos amores.
Um livro de leitura, ou um romance, é um texto mais fácil de ser traduzido, portanto, considerando que essas páginas sejam de aprox. 30 linhas e espaçamento de 1, creio que o valor por página possa sair por R$20,00... o que resultaria ai num valor de R$4000,00. Entretanto, você pode encontrar todo tipo de valor, desde 0,33 por palavra, 10, 20 ou 30 reais a página, vale fazer uma pesquisa. Dependendo do prazo também, esse valor pode aumentar ou diminuir. Exemplo: 200 páginas num prazo de 2 semanas e 200 páginas num prazo de 6 semanas. Quanto mais pressa, mais caro, com certeza.
